Interestingly, one of Gibson's leading competitors is C.F. Martin & Co. According to C.F. Martin's catalog, several of their guitars contain "East Indian Rosewood," which is the exact same wood in at least 10 of Gibson's guitars. So why were they not also raided and their inventory of foreign wood seized?

Grossly underreported at the time was the fact that Gibson's chief executive, Henry Juszkiewicz, contributed to Republican politicians. Recent donations have included $2,000 to Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and $1,500 to Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn.

By contrast, Chris Martin IV, the Martin & Co. CEO, is a long-time Democratic supporter, with $35,400 in contributions to Democratic candidates and the Democratic National Committee over the past couple of election cycles.

Look, this is what Richard Nixon did, except of course, on a much smaller scale. With the entire media colossus in his back pocket, its now obvious that Obama went "lights out" in his pursuit of American opposition to his amerikan intentions...This is why we like to know the little things about a candidate for such high office, like where they come from, how they got there, and who got them there!

The writing was on the wall back in 08. Most people I told laughed it off as conspiracy theories or propaganda.

This guy is not a leader. His name got attached to obamacare but it was Congress with others that wrote it. Not a bill he had a lot to do with asides from pushing it and signing it.

What he is good at is campaigning and pushing agendas. Everything is personal and political for him. Everything is a measured test about what he can get away with.

I can't really even think of any bills that have come from him that went anywhere. The last big one was the stimulus II that didn't even get voted on. His proposed budgets have been so far out in left field they don't even get brought up in Congress. His last one had bizarre stuff like caps on retirement accounts and yearly contributions.

This reminds me...I need to buy an Epiphone Casino sometime this year.

You know, the more I see of this the more the situation parallels that of Salvador Allende, except the Chilean went balls out much faster.

At some point the solutions taken by Chile to get rid of the socialists and marxists make more and more sense to me.
