Have a military issue ballistic Kevlar, PAGST style. This is a helmet still used by many reserve and guard units and police forces in the US. It is also still used by many foreign nations, it provides level IIIa protection.
You can find others like this one online for around $40-50 used. So for the money you won't find a better deal for IIIa head protection.
Looking for $35 OBO for this one, helmet band, harness and chin strap are attached. I might be able to locate an ACU cover for it, if you want one, but no promises.
