in 2003, i bought a NIB Colt MT6400C for $850 out the door.
shortly after, i "pimped my ride" with ARMS gear... SIR #45MV, #22M68, #40 BUIS, etc.

it definitely had the "cool" factor as far as looks and it shot well, but it was bulky and heavy...

fast forward to 2006, when i moved from PRNJ to PA and liberated my rifles... with the now defunct SAW ban and me lurking the internet drooling over some sweet "un-banned" AR's, i needed to get my Colt back to the way it was meant to be.... which left me with this:

over the past year with the addition of a light and after using some other AR15 products, i decided to part with the ARMS SIR and other ARMS gear...

Which left me with this.... a much lighter, better balanced rifle... ;)

Here's his twin brother (which originally started out as a lightweight build and turned me on to the LT rails)
