What is a fair price, either as buyer or seller, for an unopened case of 1,000 PRVI Partizan 5.56 M193 in five 200 round battle packs, each sealed in heavy clear plastic and containing ten 20 round boxes?

As i buyer i won't pay more than $500/case (50c/ round). 223/5.56 prices are dropping and popping out. Few hours ago i noticed the price on Federal 5.56 was 50-55c shipped.
As a seller.. your cost was $450 shipped from AIM. If i were you, keep them.

Before the late unpleasantness I was getting it for .32 a round. As a buyer I wouldn't pay more than .45-.50 a round now. If I was selling I would re-coop my initial cost and a few bucks extra for the hassle. In all reality its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it and how bad they need it.

My dad sold cars all his life and the most common question was "how much is this worth"? His "pat" answer was always "whatever you can get somebody to give you for it". Ron

I'd ask what you paid originally? If it was the price paid prior to the madness I'd might give you a few bucks over what you paid. If it was after the madness hit I might give you $400, if you paid more then that tuff, not my problem!:D

Anywhere between the original cost to you plus shipping, towards $450 will go quickly, and probably make both parties happy.
I'd start advertising it at the high end, so that if you get it, you're golden, and since you can probably part with it for less, decide later if there is a time/value relationship to having it sold.

I have XM193 on stripper clips in the EE that won't sell at .55 per round. That's a good sign. I'm just as happy if the market is cooling down.
