Anyone here ever heard of Templar Custom Arms out of Windham Ohio? I had a Knight's SR15 delivered there for FFl and got the best surprise when I picked it up at Bob's shop! Bob Meszaros machines his lowers from billet aluminum, uses Black Hole barrels, Hogan triggers, and whatever else components you want. Oh yeah, he also does Glock grip reductions as well as slide machining and Cerakote. I almost wanted to trade in my brand new Knight's after I saw Bob's work. http://www.templarcustomarms.com/. Check it out guys! The surprise? The prices for his custom work is not very steep at all.

I have a friend who is a LEO who carried a custom G23 from Templar for his duty gun for a while. (He is now at a department that issues guns so that G23 is now his off duty carry piece) It’s a nice gun. I spoke to Bob over the phone about some custom work once but wound up just doing it myself.

So you would trade in your tried & tested KAC for some random shop-made AR?

Sorry but this one doesn't pass the sniff test.
