View Full Version : Noveske switch block removal
Just wonder how hard is to remove the switchblock from the Noveske 9.5 qual rail, is the 9.5 rail in 2 pieces so the switchblock pin can be removed? Thanks

If you're talking about the Noveske rails made by SWS, then yes -- they're two part. I just disassembled one yesterday. There is an index pin that aligns the rail and upper and it is a little tricky to remove but it isn't rocket science and disassembling it shouldn't take long.
The barrel nut requires a proprietary wrench which I ordered from SWS for $48.
Finally the factory pinned switch block I worked with was in there pretty well. :^) It takes some elbow grease to get out.
