As the U.S. point person on the treaty, Countryman has said the agreement would reduce worldwide violence by curbing black-market arms sales. The U.S. already has the highest standards in the world for regulating weaponry, he said
All the more reason to not ratify it.
Good news is rare nowadays and much appreciated.

It will be signed by this corrupt administration- no question.
They are just stalling is all...
As the linked Fox article says, regardless whether the President signs, Congress almost certainly will not ratify. A majority of senators has already opposed the treaty, and the senate would need a 2/3 majority to ratify. BHO can put on a pony show and sign whatever he wants: this one shall not pass.
If they do sign it and no open conflict begins ala Civil War 2........we are dead as the country we once were. If they were sure that old America was dead they would sign it in a heartbeat.
Perhaps we are victims of psyops in that some things are exaggerated in the press to sow discord.
Actually, I'm sure of it.
Some of what we ALL read is DISinfo.
"One man with courage makes a majority."

But if he signs a future Congress can ratify it.
