For the those who's don't knight armament has back in 2004 participated to the lsat program along with general dynamic armament and technical products, but before this during the early hours of the program KAC has submitted his own concept.
All the info can be found in the patent, as exemple the weapon is capable to be adapted to fire both conventional and cased telescoped ammunition.
To be honest i was never much of a fan of knight armament but just by looking at this concept, it's does just prove that they (if they really want) to come up with some neat ideas on the contrary to +130 compagnies who's make the very generic system that is the ar-15.
Again to be honest i would buy this no matter what the price just because of the innovation.
