So I'm having my barrel painted with cerakote, and figured my plain jane stock needed a something too, so a pre step I wanted to do some Marine Tex texturing first. The info I found just didn't have enough pictures, so here are mine.

Time to do this: 4 hours. I did all this when I got home from work tonight.
Here is what I started with.

Here is prep:
I sanded, wiped, sanded wiped, scrathed the stock where I wanted the texture.
Then I cleaned it with acatone.
Got the blue paintes tape out.
Used my log book picture as a guide to what I wanted.

I used my rubber glove to make the texture look, tap over and over as it started to hardend up). I used to much Marine tex and had to scrape it off then push the stuff around with my rubber gloved fingers then tap'd more.
