Here's my first attempt at building a precision shooter.

Remington 700 SPS, AAC in .308
B&C Medalist 2
Harris bipod
Brake by a member of one of the forums, not sure which anymore
HD one piece scope base
Vortex rings
Millett LRS1 glass

I haven't got a lot of range time with it but it makes a large ragged hole at 100yds with my home rolled 168gn Nosler custom comp with Varget loaded in Lake City brass. I seem to string the elevation about 3" with tight windage at 200yds. I'm sure that it's my technique that's the issue.

I just ordered a Trijicon 5-20x50, mildot Accupoint scope and Vortex rings for it. I'll probably put the Millett up for sale for anyone who wants a cheaper glass for a project. Nothing wrong with it but the Trijicon is just a much nicer scope. I don't think I'll be going to a 20MOA base yet. The Millett didn't need it(140 MOA elevation adjustment) and I won't get the opportunity to reach out more than 300yds with it anytime soon so...
