Said he would take the upper I have for sale

Provided him with payment info and he said he would send a check

Sent a message the next day saying his wife told him no

I already turned down another buyer and missed out on that sale, because DeftwillP had said he would take it.

"sorry to do this, but I think I'm going to have to pass. Wifey said once I started writing a check earlier.:nono: I suppose she's right anyway since we have to put the second youngin in daycare starting next month.

I hope I haven't lost you any potential sales and good luck.

Yeah, he did.

And dude....it wasn't a day later, it was the same day. I apologized. Whatever.

So I just called out for this in a completely unrelated thread (not by cochrean btw). What's it take to make it right? I offer to pay 1/2 shipping when he does sell?

I cannot speak for the original poster, but i would think the right thing to do is pay for the item you said you would buy. If you can't afford to keep it, sell it yourself.
