Would I be correct that 55 grain 5.56/223 cartridges are the most commonly available/most economical and best accuracy to be found fired in a 1:7 twist rate AR rifle?

And, that heavier bullets would be most accurate in 1:9 twist rate, but I'll have a harder time finding the heavier grain ammo and when I do, I'll pay more?

Thanks!

P.S. At this point I want an AR with no specific use in mind, i.e., not for competition, home defense, etc. Currently, just want one in general.

1/7 will shoot longer bullets. 1/9 will shoot shorter bullets... generally speaking.

If you plant to shoot 77s or heavier, it'd be best to go 1/7.

no its the other way around

Heavier bullets for a 1:7 = 55gr. and above
