:) I just signed up today. This looks like an awesome sight, and I am proud to be a new member.

I have a Colt 6920 that I am not an expert on.

I feel privledged to be able to tap into the knowledge that is on these boards.

Thank you.

So far only one misspelling, of misspell. ;)

crap... a spel'n nazi

While I may be a tad loquacious at times... well, I may not be the bestest speller in the group.

My LT pointed out to me the other day that I managed to use the "F" word three times, in a four word sentance! As and adjective, verb and noun

Well, I was trying to nominate myself. After all, I think I was the first to point out to Voodo that he spelled his own name wrong! :p

I can't believe you guys skipped over me. :(

Ask Nitrox- I communicate with him often and drive him to the breaking point correcting his mistakes.

How about using it as an adverb? I want to hear that one!

ETA: To uphold my spelling nazi duty, I must point that it is sentence. :D

Would you believe that spelling error was placed there as a test?

Of course not...

Oh, let's see... as an adverb...

"F#$&, my account has was locked!"

"No, I am not talking big, I am talking f&#$ing big" <== that one is iffy, but it does answer to "how" big

and of course the all powerful f-adverb "Fu$%&ing-A"

How did I do?

Of course I've met the lovely Mrs. 9x19 at the range on the way to NC, Robb.

Yep, I'm in for DM if it is not 1st/2nd or 20st/22nd. Let me know.

Pretty well in the broader definition of an adverb, exclamations, adjective modifier, etc. Defined in the narrow sense an adverb modifies the verb, and often ends in -ly, so I am try to wrap my mind around f@#$ly.

I will make it a point to work f#&kly into conversation at work next week... that should be interesting.

K.L. had the perfect example of an adverb when he said "F*cking big..."

Any word modifying an adjective is an adverb whether it ends in "ly" or not. Most words use the suffix "ly" in that form but not all...
