If it works & doesn't mess with lens coatings this would be the cats ass on optics & NODS. Even on iron sights.

Think about coating ammo with it if it doesn't gum up a chamber.

It would be a blessing for treating targets prior to a match or class with rain about.

Very Cool, thanks for posting!

I looked at a commercial/industrial version of a similar product about a year ago (http://www.spillcontainment.com/everdry). It appeared to be effective but was also quite expensive. Interesting to see Rust-Oleum offer a more moderately priced consumer product. I'd like to see some reviews.

Coat the ammo to make it water proof of cycle better? It is hydrophobic, so I don't know how it would work on gun gunk.

It should help on grips to keep them dry and grippy- I'll use it on my golf club grips maybe, if it isn't too slick to start with.

I can see that stuff as an awesome treatment for garments and shoes that need to be water repellent, though I imagine it will repel sweat right back onto you. So not a cure all, but certainly useful for items that need to be highly water resistant but not necessarily breathable.

I wonder how it would work in place of a Rain-X type product on windshields. If it performs like the video, you'd probably never need another set of wipers.

Spray something on in layers I think some reviews say its frosty ?

$20 I am getting some even though it never rains here :)
But camping stuff like bottom of my duffel bags !
Around the zippers of then duffels etc..

Would be curious when I was into race boats we put this stuff on the bottom that was slimy wet to improve speed
If you put this on even Kayaks or something if it would help it glide in the water better ? Or make it more tippy :) hmmmmm

Targets are a great idea :)

A boonie hat for when it rains :)

I am interested to try it. Love the target idea.
