Guys, I just got a SIRT Pro and I'm having one hell of a time getting the front sight post installed. I'm using Ameriglo Defoor's, and the screw installs into the sight just fine when it's not on the slide, but once I put it on the gun the screw just spins endlessly (I'm using two different Ameriglo screws with the same results). It's obviously not catching the threads, but I can't tell why. Is this a SIRT problem, or an Ameriglo problem? Any insight would help.

I have Defoors on my SIRT as well. I'm guessing it's the sight or screw. If you don't plan on removing them, red locktite would work. I used red on my rear as the fit was a bit loose.

Yeah, I'm thinking Loctite is the way to go too since I know the screw is to spec (I took it off a Glock I had laying around). I'm digging the SIRT, but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in how out of spec the sight hole and dovetail are. That was a big selling point for me.
