New to the forum, not new to building rifles at all. Anyways I recently purchased a few m&p lowers from a local gun shop. I've always wanted to do a slick side upper build and I've seen the Rainier and Spikes uppers, but i just so happened to pick up a m&p sport upper today. So my question is, is there any reason that i shouldn't use the m&p sport upper receiver? I have a Daniel defense bcg and a 14.5 dd barrel and i just ordered a DD 12in mfr. And please don't just say dont use it because no forward assist or dust cover. The upper is actually very nice and all measurements were identical to my BCM and DD uppers. Does anyone have any experience with this upper. It fits perfect with my m&p15 lower also.
