Ok, hope you guys have some good advice. Here is what I want to do. I want to duplicate this light/mount location:

But on a Troy Alpha setup like:

When I ordered the Troy rails I had planned to mount one of the included short rail sections at the 1 o'clock location. I didnt realize that you cant as there is not enough room between the short section and the upper rail. I would either have to fab up a spacer to raise the rail section up enough for the light to slide on, or mount it on top in front of the BUIS. I DONT like this setup, not only does it shorten the sight radius but it blocks field of view. Unless someone here knows of a way to replicate the light location of the Magpul Scout mount, the only alternative I can see is to mount the light at 6 o'clock and put a pressure switch on (I hate pressure switches, lol).
Any ideas?
