I'd like to add a Vickers 2-point sling (perhaps the Victory) to my new M&P 15A but, it states it's for use with a "side sling connection". My 15A has the sling mount on the bottom of the FSB.

Will the Vickers sling still work?

It will still work, but the weapon won't "lay" against you on it's left side. If no rail, either pick up a side sling adapter or use the BFG sling loop.

In fact, it's going to try and flip and point the mag/grip/VFG in to your body.

Blue Force Gear has a variety of attachment methods for various configurations to use the sling as intended.

The description says it best: "Makes sling mounting problems go away"
