If you saw the press conference even for today's lame standards it was damning. His "poor" wife was either in on it or willing do anything to get to the next rung of the ladder. I don't normally go after the spouse but they're both obvious narcissists looking to falsely represent the public interest.

The Senate? I don't follow New York politics but I can't see it. For a guy with Bloomberg's stroke and financial resources, being the junior senator from New York would be a demotion. The Senate is all about seniority (look at the two desiccated ****s serving as majority and minority leaders now) and Bloomberg would be low man on the totem pole. Not gonna happen.
And he's too polarizing a figure to ever mount a successful presidential run. He's a lightening rod for conservative opposition and, as you noted, he has problems on the left due to "stop & frisk" in the NYPD.
Bloomberg has LOTS O' MONEY and, let's face it, it's no longer about the warm body in the seat, it's about the pockets that put that body in the seat. Money talks and bullshit walks. Bloomberg can promote his political agenda much more effectively with his wallet than he can on a ballot.

I did a quick google search, her rise to political prominence is mildly suspect, to say the least. While Im just a pollak with a poli sci degree from a state school, it does seem a bit odd that she has gone from WH intern during the Klinton Administration to right hand "man" to Hil Dog and deep into six figures for a connected investment bank. With no actual apparent experience other than a BA from G Dub.

I listened to the whole interview... it was hysterical!
