View Full Version : Magpul MOE+ problem

I recently picked up a MOE+ grip and believe I got ahold of a dud. I've used them in the past and had no problems but this one has a significant gap where it meets the lower part of the trigger guard ears. I tried it on a PSA stripped lower and a KAC lower with the same problem. An A2 fits both those lower receivers just fine.

Per forum rules I contacted Magpul through their website on 7/19/13 and haven't gotten a response. Also checked my spam folder just in case the response might have went there.

I'm not upset (it's a $20 part) and I'm not dogging Magpul. I support their business practices and use lots of their products with confidence. I'd just like a response. I know there are a few guys here from Magpul that post. Can you help a brother out?

That little gap is something I would not worry to much about, but I actually bought an moe+ today too and there is no gap.

Send them an email directly and I'm sure they'll take care of you.

Call them, you can't be sure your email wasn't eaten somewhere. There is no question they will make it right. :)

I installed one today, and it looks exactly like your pictures. Definitely a bit different from the others I have. Probably just a weird batch. Not enough of a problem to worry about though.

Batch that snuck through QC. We'll swap it out. Easy day. You shouldn't have to accept that. We caught it, but some had slipped through before we deadlined that run.

Maybe it's just me, but I remain quite fond of happy endings.

Little wonder that Magpul remains such an industry benchmark.

It's rare to find manufacturing errors on Magpul products. But, like mentioned...from what I've heard, Magpul stands behind their products and will make it right. IMO, I wouldn't worry about it unless it gives you discomfort when shooting.

I'm not new to semi-auto rifles, but new to the ar platform. Reading posts like this is why I choose to buy and continue to purchase Magpul products.

I had a minor issue with one of their products a few years ago(more than likely my error) and they fixed me right up with a replacement without any issue. Magpul CS is phenomenal!

No need to keep this going. Magpul has shown again that they are committed to fixing the issue.
