Glock mag question

Are current Glock 17 mags (as supplied with the Gen 4's) the same as years previous or have they been updated/modified?

They have ambi release cutouts but will work with earlier gen guns

All the mags are compatible with all generations EXCEPT if you switch the mag release on the Gen4 to the other side, then you can only use the ambi cut mags.
