So today I was browsing for some info on rails and whatnot and somehow found a guy selling an Otis rail.

Now I am sure we all have seen the TRS at some point. This was different though, it was labeled FRAK.

now no searching in the world revealed info on this rail aside from this individual selling his.

On the rail is the label OTIS FRAK IP-200-03CL 33 CAGE 01VS3.

Does anyone have any idea what this is?

Found this description on Amazon:

For hunters and target shooters, when it comes to the versatility, accuracy and reliability of your rifle, having high-quality components makes all the difference. If you’re looking for a rail system that integrates perfectly with your MSR/AR-15/M4 for a rock-solid scope or laser mount, our one-piece Turned Rail System (TRS®) or two-piece Forward Rail Assembly Kit (FRAK) are a seamless fit

Not much help, but searching the full name, as opposed to just the acronym, brings up more results. Though most seem to be various places selling the TRS with the above description.

Its really strange. Its almost as if the rail does not exist, even the TRS has photos. This rail though only exists in that small snippet and this one person selling it.

So if I read the description properly they more or less tried to copy a Centurion rail? Am I correct?

Alright, I can pick this up for $130. What do ya'll think? Seems like a good price for a FF rail that installs easy enough.

I wonder why you want to try a rail that nobody has heard of? For the same price you can buy a Troy, KAC, Midwest Industries and several other proven well known and respected manufacturers? The ones I mentioned would be used, but it is easy to find these parts just like new, at even better prices. The last rail I bought was the KAC with the forward grip and all the panels just like it came from the factory. Looked brand new and never mounted and I scored it for $75 shipped. Just thought I would mention it. I don't see anything special about this rail, but if you do buy it how about doing a review? Thanks.

The Otis rail before this one was re-branded YHM. I would not put on my surprised face if this is made by whoever it looks like it's made by.

From what I understand this one was actually made for the FRAK competition, hence the FRAK name.

THat said only reason I was really interested was that I could get a $130 FF rail.
