CZ75 just thinking of them takes me back.

Once upon a time if you new anything about fighting pistols and needed 9mm one of the CZ handguns was going to be in your holster.

I took this gun in and did the things it needs to bring it up to date.
Like Novak sight cuts and sights

The action is set up to be 4.5lbs on single action double action is 8.5lbs with a nice short reset

After all the work wanted to let people see what a well done CZ75 could be.
The love for this gun is a old and deep one.
With people like VZ making grips for them and others making parts its become a real world option today.

Let me know what you think of it.

Neat work, Joe! I love the subtle contouring work on the frame, and those VZ grips really look nice.

Thanks
The sight work about killed me I had to make a rear sight out of a heinie rear for 1911.
In the end the sights are great it came out real nice.

I like it, love the sights.
Think they are strong enough for slide manipulation?

Very nice. The one thing I disliked about my 75SA was the tiny sight picture and those sights should fix that.

Always look forward to opening up a thread with your name on it Mr. Smith. As always, beautiful.

Big Joe, as you know, I'm out this time, but is the gun still available for sale?

Nice. I was just thinking about when I used mine as a carry gun before I seen this thread.

For those of you that are mechanicly minded I would highly suggest the tactical sight set from CZ Custom and the hammer sear combo from Cajun Gun works. With a few hand tools you can make a 75B into something really special.

The sights will hold up to slide manipulation. That is the big reason that I did what I did to them.

To address A.C., this one is for sale. If anybody would like to ask about pricing, you can email me though my site, or send a PM.

Thank you for the complements -- it is nice to see people admire my work.

That gun is flat-out cool.

I was going to ask about the sights - thanks for covering that.

The gun is one great looking gun...a work of art in fact, as with all your guns Mr.Smith. Well done :).

Cool pistol. Do you have better pictures of the rear sight?

My problem with the CZ75 is that my short thumb can't reach the safety. Their so called extended safety only extends forward. Thus, I've never owned one. :(

Thank you sir for the close up picture of the rear sight. That is one streamlined sight. I can see the amount of work you put into shaping that Heinie sight to get that profile.

How much would that sight cost? It looks fantastic!

I would not be able to do just the sight.
You would need to do front and rear with a finish on the slide as well.

Can you work over a Shadow "tactical" rear sight?

As great as your gun looks and sounds from your detailed description, I could not get the full depth without having touched a CZ.
Back up a couple of years, I met with a friend to do some plinking at his back yard range. We had shot just about everything and then he pulls out his new bone stock CZ 75. Me being a devout Sig 226 type of guy my nose instinctively turned up. I don't remember if I made any snide remarks but....Well I took in hand, huh, feels good in my big mitts. Loaded & hammer down I proceeded to shoot it. Dang if this ain't nice.
I was humbled from this experience.

Now back to your work of art, It must be grand, as a plain jane 75B is dang nice!
Congrats on your work and story sir.
