Everything is perfect with it. I like to attach lights at the 11 o'clock position which would block access to the button you use to flip them back down. Not so much an issue for this rifle but I figure it makes sense to be consistant.
Besides this way if I'm shooting in the winter I can get to the sight while wearing gloves.
Nice. I like the lower.;)
I really need to start working on my recon build. Very nice rifle and well done!

Reason for the reversed sight?
Easier to deploy that way.

Like I said earlier, I do it that way because on my rifles with lights I prefer the light mounted in the 11 o'clock position which blocks access to the button to fold the sight down.
It is also much easier to flip up when mounted this way, especially when wearing winter gloves. It hangs over the front of the rail just enough that you can easily flip it up without having to actually grab it.
Frankly, the only reason I can see not to mount it this way is because you give up a little bit of sight radius. Not really an issue for backup sights.
