As title states.. I'm looking for a simple low profile swivel stud to thread directly into the bottom of my CMR. Intent is for option to mount a Harris bipod if / when desired for use.

Anybody know what size the threads are or what product I should pursue?

8/32, there is a great thread on the CMR rails with lots of info, you may want to check it out.

Thanks! I read most of the thread previously but missed those pages.

I contacted at least 5 different sling/tripod swivel manufacturers and searched quite a bit, but wasn't able to find one that was threaded 8-32. They are all 10-32.

I ended up drilling two holes into my harris bipod and use a pair of thumbscrews to attach it to my CMR. Works great.

Thanks Slippers. I like your approach. I may try and make a turned down oversize post and then thread it myself. We'll see.
