I got a TLR1 for christmas last year and really have not used it. With the Inforce HSP WML out now, I really do not see a reason to keep the TLR 1 and not buy a HSP WML. The TLR hasnt given me any issues, but it bulky light with a bothersome switch that could come on at any moment when the weapon is slung.
What say you, am I splitting hairs over two $100 lights, or is the HSP WML the bees knees now?
Well Inforce just announced they're upgrading their regular line to 200 lumens for the white only and 175 for the white/IR, so you have more options than just the HSP version. Aside from that, I keep my TLR-1 because its more compact than an X300 so I like it better on my Glock 19.
That being said, I much prefer the WML over a TLR on a carbine.
Saving $100 would be a good reason.

Yup. Spent all night researching, figured I have as much information as possible to make the decision.
For now, I'm going to pick up the HSP WML w/IWC Offset mount. If for no other reason, it will be because everything IWC has ever had to offer for me was rock solid and ingenious.

I found a home for mine on a pistol that won't take an X300. That's how I feel about my orphaned tlr among 7 X300's.
Unless you see it as a spare of a pistol mounted weapon light I see no reason to keep it. I am officially Streamlight TLR poor having traded my last two off in the past month locally. One got me 400 rounds of .223 and the other got me a Savage Model 64.
