I just recently seen an ad for the new colt mustang xsp. I grew up drooling over my grandpa's old colt mustang 380, and I must say that this one has resparked my interest in the little pistol. Any one else seen it yet, if so what do you all think of it?

Not in person but interesting to see Colt dabbling in plastic again since the All American 2000. Kinda makes you think what else they have on the board and what happened to the Rock River polymer single stack 1911...

I am really looking forward to getting to look/ hold one, was kind of playing with the thought of a s&w shield for deep concealment at the work place but this one has got me thinking, even though it is 380 and the shield is 9mm.

The LGS around the corner from my house has one in the display case for $639. Thing is nice and VERY lightweight. Looks and feels like a toy. Unfortunately I won't pull the trigger on it. My wife has a sig P238 with crimson trace and I carry a Glock 26 Gen 4. Plus I don't see the need for a picattiny rail on such a small carry pistol. Only thing I'm interested in is if there is a recoil difference felt between the Colt 380 XSP and a Sig P238 or Original Colt Mustang or Pocketlite.

I have an old Mustang NiteLite from 1984. It's a limited-edition Mustang with night sights. It's a very nice little pocket pistol.

I handled one the other day and I will pass. I will stick with the steel / aluminum version!
