I have a bit of this m196 ammo/brass that is head stamped wcc 69. I got a 720 round case and have shot about half.

I've had some blown primers and ejector swipes. Supposedly there were quite a few lots that were having blown primer issues. So I was wondering if anyone has reloaded this brass after shooting it?

I'm new to reloading and haven't started yet. I have a rock chucker kit in coming in the mail.

FIRST I would diagnose the primer and swipe issues (chamber, ammo storage history, etc.) for your safety. Then you can do your basic case cleaning, inspection, gauging, etc. to determine if the brass is safe.

Good Luck,
Keith

The ejector swipes were only prominent on this batch of ammo. The 1969 m196 ammo. The gun was a complete bcm upper and bcg, so I'm pretty sure it's the ammo.

If ejector swipes are pretty big(i.e. if you run your fingernail across the swipes you can feel some raised area) would you throw that brass away?

I'd get a collet bullet pulling die. Blasting this stuff away to get overworked brass is a waste.

Then sell the projectiles so recoup costs for other components if you're so inclined.
