View Full Version : Rubber molded butt plate for AK 100 series stock
Does a manufacture make one? I've searched google and anything I find is that slip over monstrosity.
Some sort of rubber over molded buttplate with about 1/4" of rubbery material would be perfect.
If their is already a product out there I'm over looking please let me know.
Thanks,
Ryan

Only one I've seen is the Izhmash one that's meant for the Saiga 12. It's longer than 1/4" though. They're also hard to find, but of high quality if you can track one down. Rusmilitary sells them, and you can occasionally find them on GB.

That was the ticket. Throw in Izhmash recoil pad and it shows up.
I'm pondering buying one of those "seconds" pads and modifying it to my taste.

Thanks for the link. They list one for the metal triangle folders that might just get some use from me.

Good deal man.
This is about perfect minus the hole for the side folder button.

Just found the pic. No other info other than its "Ukrainian" furniture.
Though it may sound a bit unrefined.... Consider a replacement vibram shoe sole http://www.ebay.com/bhp/shoe-repair-soles-vibram and some construction adhesive.
A more commercial solution might be pachmayr pac-skin or one of the companies that make a stick on cheek riser for rifles.
