M1A & AR10 mags

Are they interchangeable? If I get an M1A variant now (well, soon) then decide to get a nice AR10 variant down the road (like a Noveske...) will I be able to use the same mags?

Gen 1 AR10 mags - the converted mags with the springloaded bolt catch do work in a M1A. They are NOT the preferred mag for an AR10.
