I just wanted to share this with you guys as I've never seen this happen before. Please understand this is in no way bashing Battle comp. I think they are a great company with a great product. So I was checking out my buddies 1.0 and to my surprise it has changed shape. The middle is bulging as if it where pregnant. We've determined probably 2500 rounds or so, and about 2 1/2 to 3 years of use. I tried my best to get it in a pic but it jumps right out in person.Has this happened to anyone else. I'd imagine alot of you guys have much higher round counts on yours.

Never seen that happen before. Does the exit hole show any strikes?

What did the manufacturer say when you contacted them, as per forum rules?

I'm not bashing you either, just pointing out that you or your buddy needs to contact them. That's how we do things here.

I wonder if instead of having been caused by shooting, is it possible the gun took a dive onto concrete muzzle-on?

I honestly just thought it was kinda weird and I don't believe he has any intent on asking them for anything. I was not aware that I had to ask Battlecomp to post something about them, especially when I made it very clear that it really is not a complaint. In fact, it still functions 100% as the day It was bought. Absolutely no strikes on it at all.
But like I said. I myself ran my Battlecomp Just as much and never saw anything like this.

My original BC 1.0 had the same issue. BC said it was due to the material they used in the early comps. They sent me a brand new shiny 2.0 for free.

Email them about it.

I had a very early battlecomp installed on my 11.5 for a 3 day class when the bc first came out. After the class, mine was bulged out worse than your friends. And no, it did not take a fall.

I contacted bce after the class and the promptly refunded my money, paid shipping, and sent me a hat. After a few months, they contacted me to inform me that they had started using a harder steel, and offer me one to try free of charge. Customer service just doesn't get any better than that.

Battle Comp will take care of you. We had a customer with a 2.0 who experienced a small baffle strike on the end. Literally 15 minutes after I sent an email to BC about it John was on the phone with me getting my shipping information so he could send us a new one for the customer. A couple days later the new BC 2.0 showed up with a return shipping label for the old one as well as some stickers.

Top Class customer service all around.

Is this the same friend that hacked off his URX?

Is this the same friend that hacked off his URX?

I just realized he made both threads.

I don't think his friend deserves nice things.

My feathers are unruffled, and think of it as offering friendly advice to you and your friend.

If you consider it weird, then who would likely have a better answer than the people that make the product? If you really want an accurate answer, they would be the people most likely to have it.

Or you can get 900 people chiming in that have never seen a Battlecomp, much less built one.

If I understand this correctly, this isn't yours, and you don't actually know what happened to it, and the person who owns it isn't going to post here, but has created intentional damage to weapon related items previously.

Did I miss anything? Aside from this isn't a complaint and the manufacturer wasn't contacted and there there is no intent to contact them. The intent is just to show a damaged product without any supporting information.

Jesus Christ! You know I can't stand most other forums but you guys can just be straight up dicks sometimes. Is this America or did I miss something. Yes its the same friend and he's literally my closest friend albeit somewhat of a dumbass. But to intentionally bulge a Battlecomp out? That's kind of pushing it don't you think. It just so happens that all this happened last night. On that note maybe someone can tell me just how someone would intentionally do this to a Battlecomp? Actually save the back handed comments. Oh wait your free to say what you want never mind. What supporting information would I be supplying here anyway? Is the two or three people that have chimed in saying they've experienced the same thing not enough evidence that this is a legitimate thing or did I miss something?

I think we are done here.
