I haven't seen or heard much about these since their release. Can anyone comment on how much weight savings you get compared to the older MRP model? I'm referring to the 5.56.

Also, is the cqb lm8mrp upper rail the same length as the older CQB MRP?

I'm curious how these balance compared to a KAC SR15.

They don't feel hugely lighter than the full quad rail of the MRP. I think I actually prefer the size and balance of the MRP. Clyde Armory has both in stock at the moment.

LMT Balances fine. Slightly heavier/more nose heavy due to the heavier profile barrels used. Completely manageable though. Feels like a Colt SOCOM if you've ever handled one of those.

The chassis is very light. All the weight is in the barrel. If you got it and felt it was too heavy, you can cheaply reprofile the barrel to a lighter contour and it will feel as light as an SR-15.
