I did a manual search through these pages:
http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=98664
http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=24843&highlight=Specter+Gear&page=3
http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=39159&page=39

And did used the search button for keywords:
Specter
Specter Gear

And came up with very little on any info or feedback for the companies products. Just a couple good remarks, but mostly items in the for sale section. This was about the only full post I could find.

I recently ordered a Specter Gear Modular plate carrier with the triple shingles:

And I was looking to get some insight from guys that have run these rigs through a lot of training and how the hold up. I am not going to be at the next Vickers or Costa Luda class, but I periodicly try to get out to a LMS Defense class and NFA carbine class here and there and was looking for a good light weight starter rig. Just wanted to see what some recent reviews are on them. Usually when I see threads with polls, Specter is not on them. Thanks for any info.

I bought a number of pouches in their "CQB Solutions" days which are still going strong. Also some of their riggers belts, which I think were called "last resort belts" or something like that. They had fast comms and the gear has been GTG. A few transactions here and there since went fine as well. At the time, Specter would/could fill orders that others with a backlogs couldn't.

I've used Specter before. It is not bad gear but they cut corners on small details which annoys the hell out of me but it might not others. Not worth the price though. Their stuff is around the same price as better companies. I have only run pouches though.

I don't have much experience with Specter Gear. All I have is a Surefire light pouch, but it seems to be extremely well made and it has stood up to some pretty tough abuse with no ill effects. I'm thinking about getting one of their drop-leg holsters. Anyone out there who has owned/used one? What are your thoughts on it?

I've used some of their slings and have a Specter utility pouch on my plate carrier. From my limited experience with their gear, it seems pretty solid.

I have their universal chest rig http://www.spectergear.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=266
It works great for me and is. Ery well made. I have a blow out kit And dump pouch of theirs attached to it as well. I will be adding an H-harness, but that's a personal preference thing.

specter's gear is VERY basic designs. Most of what they have in their product line up, you can find patterns on DIY Tactical's forum. Their stiching is top notch. Their designs are.... eh.... but they get the job done. it's just not "innovative". I have a couple of their mag pouches and their tear off med pouch.
