I got this in today although listed as a machete it feels more like a sword,kinda of reminds me of some of the Chinese cutters like the Dao or the war sword that they used up into WWII.
This may appeal to someone who wants a sword but also wants it to double as a tool/survival knife.

The tip you can see the thing is made to hurt going in and coming out,it has a good,decent edge but the upper one isn't sharpened at all (I will fix that)

The micarta grip is really nicely done and make no mistake it's built for two hands! for defensive use this is good and you can make someone's day miserable real riky tik with this beast,it also allows you to loop a lanyard through it and hold it from the end which make it reach farther.

Blade stock is listed at 3mm so if you're used to how a machete feels this one will make you stop,it feels more like a sword and comes across as solid as hell not the usual cheap,nasty flimsy that a six dollar local hardware store machete.
if you've never handled a sword it may come across as rather heavy and may turn some off,for those that have you'll probably love it right off although it's not a balanced thing for fancy sword play it's a outright chopper.

Lists at $169 from the company I got it for $105+S/H which came to $113 for the money if you want a weapon tool combination to bring in the woods the Discord may be just what you seek :D
