Hey guys and gals,

Wanted to say hi from NH and thanks for having me! Recently I've been researching DI AR's as my first purchase a few years back was a Ruger Piston and at the time, I had honestly never knew anything about AR's, let alone the piston/di models. I have been shooting handguns for years and only within the past few years have I dabbled with rifles. It's something the Mrs and I both thoroughly enjoy and I hope to learn more and be able to contribute during my stay here.

Welcome aboard. Researching on this site saved me from buying a junky first AR. It won't take long for you to find out which members really know their stuff. Don't sweat it if you get slapped down once in a while for mistaking opinion for evidence or simply being chatty. This place isn't like most forums. Much better signal to noise ratio.

By the way, the orange search tab at the top often gets better results than the one in specific sections.

Many moons ago, I was from Cape Cod. I'm now and forever a Texan, as is my Daughter and GrandChildren.

Even then, as a kid of eleven, I was enthralled with the safe use of firearms. My first gun, earned shoveling snow was a .22 single shot Remington. It was extraordinarily accurate.

New Englanders are unfairly considered as anti-gun.

Not so. Outside citys's.

Those residing in city's are given more credence than the balance living outside the city limits....with the media socialists....
