10-32 Solutions and Milwaukee COPS are again partnering to conduct a one-day Basic Carbine Operations class at the Racine County Line Rifle Club. This class is a chance to break that carbine out of the safe, learn techniques and tactics to use the carbine to your advantage, and have fun doing it.

This class teaches beginning familiarization with modern carbine operation methods. It includes fundamentals of stance, sight alignment and trigger control, zeroing, reloads, malfunctions, movement, target engagement, and other skills geared towards defensive and competition uses.

Round count will be about 250 minimum. It is recommended to have more than the minimum for other learning opportunities that present themselves and if time allows. Semi-Auto carbine platforms such as the AR-15/M4, or AK are best suited for this class.

Handguns will not be needed.

Red dot sights such as Aimpoint not mandatory but are very highly encouraged.

Rimfire carbines such as a S&W M&P 1522 are also welcome.

Carbines will need a sling. Any quality 1,2 or 3 pt slings are acceptable. Simple carry straps that came with the rifle are not considered slings that will provide any benefit in this class.

You will need to be able to carry 3-4 magazines on your body.

WE TRAIN RAIN OR SHINE. IT CANNOT BE STRESSED ENOUGH TO DRESS FOR THE WEATHER; AND YOU MUST BE PREPARED FOR ANY WEATHER!

Snacks, drinks, (NO ALCOHOL!) bug spray, sunscreen, lawn chair, EZ-Up type shelter are not mandatory but are highly encouraged. We will NOT have enough time to leave the range for lunch.
