Just got this today from Midwayusa. Was considering and going back and forth in my mind on an Eotech or an Aimpoint/similar style sight for a few weeks and weeks. I wanted something versatile though for up close fast acquisition but also more precision at longer ranges, but also keep the cost down and within my small budget. I understand there's no "one size fits all" optic, but this choice fits me best for mainly range shooting at various distances. The Weaver V3 is bright and clear and very very close to a true 1x scope at 1x power so it's easy to keep both eyes opened, and I wanted to try something different as far as brand on the mount rather than a tried and trued LaRue (Yes, I like being different :p ). The ADM-Recon mount is built nicely and well thought out in design. I had the Millet DMS-1 before and didn't like it as much...it wasn't a true 1x so there was distortion, plus I had a cloudly lens when illuminated at nighttime. It was also a little too long and heavy. YMMV.

Nice setup. By the way what type of upper is that.

Thanks. I put the upper together myself. It's a Sun Devil Billet upper receiver with LMT BCG, White Oak Armament 16" stainless barrel, Superior Weapons System midlength handguard, and a FSC556 muzzle brake.

I have one of the Weaver 1-3x scopes on my '3gun training rifle' 10/22, which simulates the set up on my 3gun rifle.

OutlawDon you need to adjust your mag catch tighter on your lower about 4-5 turns tighter, the threaded portion of the catch should be flush with the mag catch button.

Thanks, but I don't think you realize that the mag release button I have is the "bullet button" as I live in nazi state of California and can't have a standard mag release.

"The BULLET-BUTTON is a product that allows the shooter to drop a magazine with the use of a tool. It prevents finger manipulation of the mag release, and creates a condition allowable under CURRENT INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATIONS of California law.
This does not create a detachable mag situation, but creates an attachable-fixed magazine condition. A bullet tip can be used as the tool, as can any small object such as Allen wrench, or small screwdriver."

BTW, did you get my PM regarding the F2 compensator vs the FSC556 compensator?
