Seems like police state is a reality.

Wouldn't that mean MORE guns on the street?

And more "weapons of war" on the streets of Chicago!

Yea.. I'm not really loving the precedent that would set..

By their logic though that would turn Chicago into an all out war zone, since their violence epidemic is directly caused by black assault weapons..

Should this be against Gang Violence as opposed to Gun Violence??

Shoulkd this be against Gang Violence as opposed to Gun Violence??

To the well read and rationale individual that would seem to be a logical distinction that should be made... but to these twits conceptually they are one in the same.

So when was the last time the NG was allowed to carry live rounds when deployed to US cities to restore order after/during a disaster/riot/etc.?

What happened during Katrina? I don't remember.

National Guard is not necessary. Governor Quinn and Rahm Emanuel need to let Chicago PD do their job and tell the Cook County judges to do their jobs.

The Governor and the Mayor also need to support the police and judiciary when relatives of people who are arrested start complaining.

You do realize there was an FBI agent provocateur at Kent State via there COINTELPRO program correct? That guardsman believed he was taking gun fire.
