Weighing whether I should re-barrel or just get a new complete upper before any undesirable election outcomes occur.

My preference is to re-barrel at $350 for the drop in MRP barrel, versus do a complete new upper with rails and BUIS' at $800 if the current upper will go 30,000 rounds. (15,000 rounds for each of the 2 barrels old and new).

Will a LMT upper go 30,000 rounds?

Yes on the 30,000.

Having some spare parts and a barrel are definitely good ideas. Especially in todays climate.

agreed with the spare parts and all....aleast with the parts that tend to fail..
