This is an ongoing problem.
The latest thread to get lock was about a Texas PD buying an armored vehicle.
No personal attacks or insults occurred in this thread.
The member that proves themselves to be disruptive constantly participated in said thread however.

Why was the thread closed?
Why does one member with opinions and ideas that are counter to this board's get a permanent ban, (500grain), but another, who happens to be LEO, manage to not only remain a member, but also manages to get threads locked in which the direction of conversation upsets or threatens his views?

Disruptive is disruptive.
It doesn't matter how one earns their paycheck.

Political Correctness. Brute-forced LEO "respect."

Perhaps mods who are LEO should not be moderating non-LEO forums.

I do not think it is only LE-Employed Mods. LE just happens to be a higher class of citizen 'round these parts. ;)

Imagine how fast those members would fade away without Mod protection.

Hey, it's a kinder, gentler M4C.

The GD on this forum is primarily for the discussion of current events. A thread on a police department buying a surplus item was of little to no value. If anything, it appeared antagonistic towards LE.

This forum is very pro LE and Military. Many of the mods and staff are Veterans and LE. They were asked to be a Mod based on their knowledge and their willingness to help run the forum in a professional manner.

All members that are disruptive to a learning and sharing environment will receive an infraction (no matter what they do for a living). Everyone is treated equally.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact a mod or staff member.
