Does anyone have any experience or opinions on this? I would like to assume that if it is NATO spec is should be gtg.

If they are the ones with GGG headstamp I have used them on several ocassions in a variety of weapons with good results.

It looks good, I just haven't found any for a reasonable price. Would love to see some data though

Lithuanian surplus was the cat's meow in 7.62x51, as long as it lasted...

GGG's distributor contacted me asking to start buying their product. I have never heard of them until this week. Pricey. Wholesale price for m855 equivalent costs more than retail for Federal XM855. I don't understand why it costs so much. The sales rep says "Simply due to the nature, quality, and performance of the product GGG will be more expensive than any Federal XM or "Contract Overrun" ammunition. GGG isn't comparable; its a different product. GGG is all factory new production that is engineered to the tightest of tolerance from the highest quality raw materials. " That's all talk though, I'm trying to find the real deal on this ammo.

I am having a hard time selling XM855 for 50 cents a round, I certainly am not going to buy something similar for 50 cents a round and be stuck with it.

7.62x51 GGG is available now... And I might add it shoots better than any other "ball FMJ" I have tried in 25+ years of surplus, OEM ammo and LC.

Slightly larger groups than Fed. GMM

I have bought the 5.56 version , but have yet to have a chance to test it.

Available at the same website , listed under .223/5.56.

As for the price paid, ( in context to the 7.62x51 ) if I could afford it , I would buy a pallet of it. It really is fantastically accurate... and "legendary brass" to reload to boot !

I truly hope the 5.56 shoots as accurately.
