For Sale a section of Cowling and Cowling Latch Assembly recovered from a ME-109 crash site in Normandy. I purchased the relic from Messerschmitt*109 on Ebay about 5-6 years ago. He had also provided the information as to the Wk number, pilot and date of crash but unfortunately due to the loss of a laptop hard drive, I no longer have it. It's a really neat piece due to the fact of it having a complete cowl latch, a brace assembly, cowl, and remains of the cowl seal. The dimensions are 12 inches by 14 inches. Price is $150.00 plus actual shipping cost. If you have any questions or would like additional pictures let me know.

No WWII Aviation History Buffs? Think about the history of this part, and the people that handled it. From first being produced thru its final demise of being shot down in combat. An iconic ME-109, how many people can say they own one or even a relic of one. Trades considered.
