View Full Version : The final hour is approaching..
That's right boys and girls, the end of the S&W M&P $50 dollar rebate and two free mags ends this month. S&W will also be raising prices shortly so if you ever wanted an M&P, you might want to act fast!

Tell them to release the 45 midsize and 9L and I will!

Those will be here in May.

Picked up mine a few weeks ago...
Put 234 rounds through it and traded it for a LNIB Glock 17.:D
M&P not for me.
I do have the rebates coming eventually...:)

Interesting. I sold all my Glocks and went with the M&P. What did you find that was lacking with the M&P?

Did you get any of the M&P9c models in yet?

Nope, 40C's only.

Poop!
How am I suppose to take advantage of the rebate and get rid of these "flawed design" GLOCKs if you can't get the M&P9c in stock?

Grant, I found the trigger to be uncomfortable (little hump on the bottom). I did correct it with some sandpaper though. After that mod, it was much better for me.
My biggest issue was the extra 14 parts in the M&P and the inability for the end user to work on them as easily as a Glock.
I am very familiar with the Glock platform. I guess I need to stop searching for a replacement/supplement...
I did like the M&P's reversible mag release as I'm a lefty.

When you want to off load that 19, let me know.
I would be interested in an M&P9c if you can get them in time.
I bought my M&P9 way before these rebates. I didn't even get the free range bag like Marc got just a few weeks later.

Simple! You're supposed to branch out and start buying 40s to complement your 9s!

Grant,
I know this is in the handgun forum and dont want to hijack, but . . . . .
What aboout the M&P15's - going the same way - rebate gone and projected price increase?
Do you have M&P15T available? If so, what is your price?
When you want to off load that 19, let me know.
NEVER! I might enjoy the M&Ps but I'm not offloading my GLOCKs for any reason...especially my two G19s.

I bought a G23 just so that I can have a 40 S&W around and so I can run a G32 barrel in it if I want to shoot 357 SIG. I'm pretty sure that is the only none 9mm or 45 ACP I will own.
How 'bout this question, Grant. What M&P stock do you have? Let us know and we can pick from that! :D

Grant, did you receive my FFL info?

Being both a Glock and M&P certified armorer, it is true that the Glock has less parts, but that does not mean that the M&P is hard to work on.

Yes.

No, not hard to work on.
Hard to get parts, however...

Parts are hard to find, but we are slowly, but surely collecting spare parts for them.

To be fair...the Glock had quite a head start on the M&P.

Wow, our shop must have gotten a LOT bigger since the last time I was there for you to have every 45 they have made :p
I need to get mine sent in. Have until the 15th of May to get the certificates and paperwork to S&W, per David (or Dan I forget) at S&W when I called this week.

I thought it was pretty safe to say every 45 since this is a M&P thread and NO ONE in their right mind would ASSume that I am talking about any other manufacturers. ;)

D'oh typo in the post an you have quoted it:eek:
Well I did offer useful information in the second half of the post, I guess that means that I am about halfway to a right mind

So I take that to mean Qty 0 on-hand for any M&P15?

If I order a M&P now, is it even possible to receive the rebate even though I wouldn't get the pistol after the end of the month and then send the rebate in?

You have until the middle of May to submit your paper work to S&W so yes, it is 100% possible.
