What length gas system is being used. Noveske has made 18" barrels with mid, intermediate, and rifle length gas systems. I would look at handguards from LaRue Tactical, Knight's Armament, Daniel Defense, & PRi. Here's a pic of my 18" Mk12 with a Carbon Fiber PRi tube.

OOOOOOH! very nice. I believe it 's the intermidiate the one they recommended.Actually haven't got the bbl in yet still waiting, the gas block is set & they sending gas tube with it. The bbl they have advertised.

I would go with a 12" handguard. The barrel you ordered comes with a low profile gas block that will fit under any of the handguards I listed. The 12" handguards will extend past the gas block for a clean look.

Thank you very much.
I used 13.5" Daniel Defense Rail for my SPR build.
cool i'll look into those.thanks
I have both a 10'' and a 13.5'' Troy Industry on two of mine and like them very much. Also have a PRI just like in the top pic and its great too.Very light as well.

I like the monolithic look so I put a 13.5" Troy rail on my 16". The 13.5" is the longest out there that I've seen. Some would say the Troy is a bit heavier than LT or DD, which may be true but I haven't confirmed. I figure I'll end up with a stronger left arm than my LT and DD brothers. ;)

For the best balance of usable space vs weight regulation I went with the LaRue 11".
