Guys,
I'm having Specialized Armament do a build for me. Since I'm a NYer and...well...the rest of it is too boring/complicated...I need a muzzle break that is unmistakably a compensator.

Can't be a flash suppressor/compensator....gotta be a plain old compensator. You know, the kind of thing that BM, RRA, Stag, etc would tack on their rifles if they had a ban state customer.

The thing is, I can get myself a really good one if you guys can tell me which ones you'd recommend and then point me in the right direction.

Can't be aluminum...gotta be steel.

Thoughts?

Primary Weapons (www.primaryweapons.com) DNTC or FSC556. ATF say both are compensators and specifically are NOT flash hiders.

I have a DTNC, miculek, and MSTN quiet brake and like them all.
Miculek is cheapest and quiet brake the most expensive.

PWS FSC556 for sure. Unless it's suppressed, or unless I'm trying to preserve the MIL look with an A2, all of my AR's have the FSC556. Excellent piece of work and like it has been mentioned here, the BATF does not consider it a FH (but it does a good job at hiding the flash). :D

Long story, but I've gotta get something that's steel...so that it can be welded on.
