I've recently joined a club that has access to a decently sized range (600 yards, up to 1000 yards on occasion), and I've been thinking of buying an optic that can help me to shoot at those kinds of distances. Can somebody give me some recommendations? This is scope should handle 100-600 yard distance at a budget of around $500-$700. Should I look for a fixed 10x? A 4x-12x? Something else? All of my shooting up till now has been with red dot sights, so I'm really out of my depth on this one.
