View Full Version : Book recommendation? "AK-47: The Grim Reaper", 2nd Edition
This is a pretty pricey book, although I'm told that it's worth it to anyone wanting a thorough history and description of the AK-47 family. The 2nd edition is out and is a bit thicker than the first.
For those of you that own the first or second editions, would you say it's worth the price?
I have a first edition and rate it right up there with my Collector Grade Publications books.
A buddy of mine has a photo credit (at least in the 1st edition), so I picked it up. Great book, far better than Poyer's volume.
Hell, it's probably a bargain when you consider what college kids pay for their textbooks nowadays.

Are there any AR15 coffee table books out there you would consider a Collector grade publication? I have some HK ones, but would love an AR one.

Ordered and received the 2nd edition of "AK-47; The Grim Reaper". Looks like I'm going to spend many an hour going through all the info contained within. Hell, I didn't know Albania even made AK's.
For those that have (or have reviewed) both editions, is the Second Edition a significant upgrade? I have a first edition and have been debating getting the new one.
All of Frank Iannamico's large books are worth purchasing.
