Difference in apertures....

pardon my ignorance; however, i was about to buy a Larue rear BUIS and there are options.

standard A2 or same plane.

would somebody please shine some light?

not sure if it matters but it will be aligned with a fixed front sight from Armalite.

Standard A2 has shift in POA/POI when you switch apertures. The idea is that you would use the large aperture for close stuff and the small one for long distance work. A same plane sight does not shift POA/POI when you change apertures.
