I have been looking at either trimming down the fsb or just installing a lopro.

I know my options as far as that goes, my question is if anyone sells stock fsb chopped down already?

It would be nice to pick one up that is already chopped, finished, etc.

That would be the same as getting your low pro pinned.

Even if someone did sell shaved FSB, there would be no point. The pin holes wouldn't align properly.

So, no.

Go for it, the most difficult part is that first cut with the dremel. It's actually pretty easy, and a good experience.

Or you could send it to adco, they will do it professionally for about $40.

Save yourself some cash and just cut it down yourself.

Has anyone cut a FSB down while it's still attached to the barrel ?

Yes, just tape a shop rag or something front and aft of the FSB so if you happen to slip you don't hit the barrel.

Yes.
I wrapped some bits of an old leather glove around the barrel and taped it then went to work on the the FSB, not a big deal.
