I've been using the Surefires when I take the dogs out in the backyard at night. Battteries are getting expensive.
So - looking for a good rechargeable for daily use - something that would be used a grand total of 10-15 minutes every night. That's it.
As usual - cheaper is better, as long as it is reliable and durable.
TIA

If rechargeable isn't a big deal and you're a Costco member they have a 2 pack of Duracell batteries advertised at 500 lumens that are pretty decent for the $16 they sell for. There's a thread on here about them, they use D or C cells I believe.

I picked up a couple of TechLite Lumenmaster lights at a dollar store for $6 each. Machined aluminum case and use 3 AAA batteries. You will be better off in the long run using rechargeable batteries vs a rechargeable light you can't replace the batteries in. GH
